The West Midlands Food and Drink Fast Track Programme is aimed at any food or drink producer in the West Midland who is interested in exploring the opportunities exporting can offer.
The programme packages together all the support the Department for International Trade offers but focusses it specifically on the needs of food and drink companies. We will guide companies through all the considerations for exporting their products. They will have a dedicated adviser who will help them to draw up an export action plan and through our online tools, masterclasses and other face to face support can address issues such as logistics, online visibility, internationalising their website, getting paid, language support and any other areas required.
The programme is geared to upskill all staff within a company to make sure they have everything in place for a successful export journey and all this support is offered free of charge.
The aim of the programme is that within 6-12 months we will generate opportunities for each company to meet overseas buyers who want to buy their products. There will also be opportunities for assistance to exhibit at the NEC and for overseas visits and exhibitions.
