WiRE Kent goes from Strength to Strength

Posted: 11th July 2016

KentHeaderKent WiRE has grown over the past couple of years into a vibrant and thriving group of women who meet monthly and provide support and business opportunities to each other.

We are hugely grateful to Mary White who started this group and who has through tenacity and stewardship brought us to this point.

Mary’s own business is taking off internationally now so she has stepped away from the leadership role and will continue as a keen member of our group.

The two new leaders are Barbara Baker and Fiona Blackmore both long term attendees and members of WiRE in Kent.  We are both excited to take on this group which is lively friendly and fun.  We are already working towards our second Open Day on 5th October in Nurstead Court, Meopham Kent.

It will be a fabulous day for our members and guests to enjoy a number of activities linked to our theme this year Building your Confidence in Business – from underwear to accessories, fashion show and therapy treatments, we will end with festive shopping.  All from our members.

We were absolutely thrilled to have Fiona Davies join us at KWiRE for our summer lunch – her positivity has propelled us forward in the South East…Watch this space!
