Country Living Christmas Fair Showcase Opportunities

The team at Country Living are starting to compile the programme for the theatres and workshops for the upcoming Christmas Fairs in London, Glasgow, Harrogate and Northern Ireland. You are invited to put forward your suggestions and ideas to be part of the shows exciting content for visitors.

Taking part is a great way to raise your profile, meet your customers and bring in new business. As a contributor you’ll benefit from fantastic exposure as part of the Fairs extensive marketing campaigns as well as other opportunities across editorial, PR and visitor promotions.

2016 Christmas Fairs

The following opportunities are available at the Fairs.

London (9th -13th  Nov, BDC) – Lifestyle Theatre only (food, drink and craft demos)

Glasgow  (17th -20th  Nov, SECC)Lifestyle Theatre, Craft & Create Workshops and Food Theatre

Northern Ireland (24th -27th Nov, EEC)- Food Theatre and Craft & Create Workshops

Harrogate (1st -4th Dec, HIC) – Lifestyle Theatre, Craft & Create Workshops and Food Theatre

Lifestyle Theatre

Content covered includes: Decorating your home for Christmas, top tips on entertaining, table dressing, gift wrapping, cake decorating, florals, home fragrances, skincare, interiors, cocktail making, wine tasting, aspirational/business/lifestyle talks, Q&A’s etc.

  • All sessions are free to attend
  • Seating for up to 100 visitors
  • Sessions are up to 30 minutes long with 10 minutes either side for setting up, questions and packing away

Craft & Create Workshops

Content covered includes: Christmas decorations, upcycling, gift wrapping, candle making, food sculptures, card making, sewing, knitting, felting, paper crafts and stitching etc.

  •  All sessions are free to attend
  • Seating for up to 50 visitors
  • Sessions are 40 minutes long with 10 minutes either side for setting up, questions and packing away

Food Theatre

Content covered includes: Christmas entertaining, creating the perfect dinner celebration, seasonal cooking/menus, preserving, drinks tastings, etc.

  •  All sessions are free to attend
  • Seating for up to 40 visitors
  • Sessions are 30 minutes long with plenty of backstage prep time as well as 10 mins either side for on stage setting up, questions and packing away

Taking Part

  2. How many sessions / days you can commit to doing
  3. Title of session(s): short and snappy please
  4. A paragraph (max 100 words) about what visitors can expect to do/see/hear/experience at the session
  5. 2-3 good quality images that we can use to publicise the session
  6. Bio – any info you have with a headshot that we can use

Country Living Fair – Northern Ireland  24th – 27th November 2016 at the new purpose built Eikon Exhibition Centre.

If you have not already seen, we have received fantastic support via our social media channels from visitors and exhibitors alike. This has given us the added confidence that the buzz surrounding the Country Living name has had a real impact across both Ireland and Northern Ireland, and that the show is certainly on its way to becoming a solid addition to the Christmas portfolio.
