Our network has been running since January 2018. We pride ourselves in supporting each other, at and between meetings. We also refer and buy from those in the group.
Upcoming events are listed on this page. We do encourage you to book a place, via our Facebook event, to let us know you INTEND to attend as this helps us plan. Payment is taken on the night. Cash only please.
We currently meet at The Royal Oak, 25 High Street. Eccleshall, ST21 6BW on the THIRD Wednesday of each month, in the evening.
We always offer the opportunity to introduce yourself and what you do to the room. You are welcome to bring along leaflets, flyers and business cards to distribute. Most months, one WiRE member gives a 20-minute spotlight into their life story. However, occasionally this slot will be replaced with a learning point. There is usually a guest speaker or workshop and sometimes we run a ‘pure networking’ night when there is chance to have longer 1-2-1 chats with different women at the meeting.
N.B. You are welcome to buy food and drink from the bar.
ALL working women (employed and self-employed) and those who volunteer for charities and good causes are welcome. Payment for the meeting, is by cash at the meeting. Any questions or to be added to the mailing list, please contact North Staffordshire’s volunteer network leader: Mia or Jacqui.
Don’t forget to check out all our upcoming events by following the links in this page’s Events section.
