Senior leader with 20+ years of business experience in multinationals, currently Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Micro Focus (FTSE listed, global software company headquartered in Newbury, Berks) and a trustee at Berkshire Youth, a charity that works to support, empower and inspire young people. I am also on the Thames Valley LEP Skills Advisory Board.
A champion for equality and inclusion, I am a regular commentator on STEM & diversity topics, and have appeared on BBC News, BBC World as well as in various publications.
In 2018, I was listed in Cranfield University’s School of Management 100 Women to Watch report – a supplement to the Female FTSE Board Report 2018 and in the Computer Weekly 100 Most Influential Women in Technology in 2017, 2018, 2019. I was also named as a winner of WeAreTheCity Rising Star Champion Award 2019.
Previously Chair of the Diversity & Skills Council at techUK, where I led several diversity & inclusion programs including Gender Pay Gap reporting, Returners Programs. A supporter of the WISE Campaign’s People Like Me Digital which aims to influence 200,000 11-15-year-old girls in the UK to consider a career in STEM, I have also worked with Girlguiding to incorporate STEM into their badges and attended 2018 Camp CEO as a role model for Girl Guides. I also served as a board member at techUK for three years.
