I qualified from the Dru International school of Yoga in 2013, and divide my time between working as a Speech and Language Therapist for the NHS and teaching Dru Yoga classes.
Dru yoga is a graceful and powerful form of yoga, based on soft, flowing movements, controlled breathing and visualisation, designed to relieve stress and calm the mind. Suitable for people of all abilities and fitness levels, it can be quickly dipped into or learnt in more depth.
I have a special interest in back care, and reducing work-place stress by using the therapeutic aspects of Dru Yoga. I always offer modifications for poses and sequences, so everyone can join in.
With an ITEC therapeutic massage qualification and my role as a Weleda Wellbeing Advisor, I use my knowledge of bodywork and natural health to enhance my Yoga teaching.
