Kirsty Tyler

Financial planning is about more than just your money – it is about your life, your goals and your ambitions. We recognise that each of our clients is unique and as such deserves a bespoke service, tailored to their own financial needs and future aspirations.

We work closely with all of our clients, building a relationship based on trust and an in-depth understanding of their personal finances to ensure that we are able to provide the advice that is needed, when it’s needed.

Based in Hereford, I provide a financial planning and wealth management service to clients in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Shropshire, Monmouthshire and more widely throughout the surrounding areas.

After graduating from the University College of Wales at Aberystwyth in 1997 armed with a Law Degree and the knowledge that a career in law was not for me, I joined the banking profession. I qualified as a Financial Advisor in 2001 and I am now one of the most highly qualified planners in the UK having attained Chartered Financial Planner status and been elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2012. Fellowship is universally recognised as the premier qualification for those working in the financial planning industry.

All potential new clients benefit from a no obligation initial consultation. This allows me to get to know you and fully understand your aims and objectives over the short, medium and longer term in a relaxed, friendly way. At the end of the initial meeting, you may not require advice immediately but I am confident that you will have benefited from the experience, and I would be delighted to help when the time is right.

Because every one of us is different, I work with my clients (and, often, their families) throughout their lives. I aim to make financial planning easy and love helping clients safeguard the future for themselves and their families, for instance helping them to:-

  • build and manage their assets;
  • protect themselves, their assets and their families;
  • retire when they want to;
  • enjoy a high standard of living in retirement;
  • pass as much of their wealth as possible on to their children by reducing the amount payable to the government in inheritance tax; and
  • reduce the anxiety many people feel around the possibility of having to fund long term care.

I aim to cut through the jargon and make the whole process as easy as possible so that you can relax, safe in the knowledge that you’re saving time, planning effectively and securing your financial future. To give you additional peace of mind, my advice is backed by the St. James's Place guarantee.

Due to my strong focus on my clients, my business grows organically through introductions from clients and professional connections. Clients are keen to recommend me so that their friends, family and colleagues can also benefit from the honest, expert advice I provide.

Away from work, I am kept busy as a volunteer on my son’s school PTA, and with the charitable fundraising I do for Rotary and the St. James's Place Foundation.
