I’m a Virtual Assistant based in York, and my mission is to rescue small business owners from the admin burden! With over 20 years’ experience providing high level administrative support, I followed my dream and started my own business. I now enable small business owners to benefit from professional support without having to make the commitment of employing me (or finding me a desk!).

Being legally qualified (Legal Executive), I also provide specialist support to the legal profession, including copy typing of file notes, transcription of meeting/court attendance notes and drafting legal documentation.

I work in a variety of ways to support the needs of different businesses. In some cases I provide a small amount of regular weekly support to keep the admin side of things ticking over – services include responding to customer enquiries, credit control (issuing invoices, chasing late payments and tracking expenses), data entry, collating information, diary management, making travel bookings and website updates (WordPress). I also provide ad hoc help as and when needed – this might be to set up a contacts spreadsheet, send out a newsletter using MailChimp, organise an event, carry out research or support a specific project.

Together with fellow member Anne Wyn-Jones, I am co-leader of the York Central branch of WiRE.
