Jane Hamerton runs a successful personalised gifts business in Suffolk.

She developed a love of sewing from an early age. Ever resourceful,
she learnt to make clothes, home furnishings and even wedding dresses.

Inspiration for personalising towels came in the early 1990s, when Jane
wanted to celebrate friends’ newborn babies with an unusual gift.

In typical ‘Jane’ style, she cut letters from gorgeous fabrics and appliquéd the baby’s name to a fluffy towel.

Love and care went into every stitch, friends were thrilled and a business was born…

Personalised Gifts

From fantastic feedback over the years, Jane knows how much an unusual, handmade gift means…

Popular as christening and wedding gifts,
or to mark special occasions, Jane often hears her towels are still in
use years later. Such is the affection her personal gifts inspire…

Made from thick, pure Egyptian cotton and top quality fabrics, Jane
ensures every towel is hand-stitched to meet her meticulous standards.

Recently, her product range has extended to personalised hooded baby towels and children’s hooded bathrobes. And for adults, personalised dressing gowns to slip in to. She is lucky enough to be accepted to personalise the beautiful wool shawls royal babies are wrapped in, which we see when members of the royal family leave hospital for the first time.

Jane volunteers for Cruse Bereavement Suffolk  and takes calls from bereaved people on the Cruse national helpline and is training to help people with a life limiting illness and their families at end of life with Living Well Dying Well.
