Deborah Jayne Jewellery
~ Unique ~ Ethical ~ Vintage ~ Hand-Crafted
Reclaimed ~ Reworked ~ Reborn
I absolutely love old jewellery and girly, sparkly things! I hate people throwing out pretty bits, just because it is broken or ‘out-of-fahion’. Deborah Jayne Jewellery celebrates old, neglected and forgotten jewellery and rescues it to create exciting and unique designs. In my former professional life I have spent over 20 years working in the auction world. From this I know a lot about antique and vintage jewellery, style history and also the amount of old costume jewellery that comes to aution from house clearance. So when I decided to start Deborah Jayne Jewellery it made sense to bring abandoned costume jewellery back to life!
Each piece of my jewellery is lovingly crafted from old bits and pieces that I carefully source. clean and re-assemble. They are all one-of-a kind pieces. This is very appealing in today’s mass produced markets, and individuality has become a rare commodity. My jewellery is currently available through:-
Increasingly I am asked to reinvent inherited or broken costume jewellery for clients. I can bring long neglected items back to life so they can be enjoyed once more. Or for special occasions, including Weddings and Proms, I can work with clients to accessorize perfectly with something extra special and personal.
Deborah Jayne in Support of the British Legion
For the past 3 years I have made a range of Poppy Appeal Jewellery using artisan handcrafted poppies and high quality black glass beads. This campaign has been very successful and I am continuing my work with the British Legion for at least the duration of this year..
The Future for Deborah Jayne
I have found the support, knowledge and experience of fellow WIRE members inspirational and would welcome any further interest from this community and any interest in my products and services.
