Christine Brown (Owner / Principal Consultant) has worked at a senior and executive level in the employment, skills, training and community development sector for 23 years, across the private, public and charitable / third sector. She is qualified to post graduate level in legal practice and with a range of occupation qualifications in management and health and safety. Christine is a Fellow of the Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP) and was elected as a Non-Executive Board Director of the IEP in October 2013. Christine has carried out a range of functions including operational management, business development and project management. Recognised for her expertise in developing large and complex partnerships and writing successful and high value externally funded tenders, including DWP, SFA, Regional Development Agencies, ODPM, European Social Fund (ESF) and National Lottery, she brings a breadth of skills and knowledge in government and other funding to Future Excel. More recently she was an adviser for the Local Sustainability Fund and her organisation was appointed as external evaluator for the City Deal Working Together project in the Black Country. Christine’s passion for the role of SME’s and third sector organisations in the delivery of public services, led her to found Future Excel in 2011.
