Christine Bonsmann Counselling Services

Counselling may enable you to make some changes in your life and I would like to help you. The process of counselling can help you to develop self-awareness, to understand the triggers to feeling a certain way or to accept what has happened in the past. Counselling can help you to realise that the present and the future can be different because change is possible. It can help you to
gain a new perspective on your situation, to recognise how you might be contributing to your own difficulties and to find a way to understand and process your feelings.

Based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor.  I help people who are experiencing feelings of depression, anxiety and stress to understand themselves, to find ways to move forward and to learn some coping strategies. I help people who are experiencing relationship difficulties to explore how they can improve their relationships and to recognise their choices.  I also help people who are feeling disappointed with the way their life is turning out to make sense of things and to find a way to live in a more fulfilling way.

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor/Psychotherapist.  In addition I am a member of the BPS Division of Counselling Psychology, a Founding Member of the BACP Coaching Division and a member of the Association for Independent Practitioners.

Please feel free to ring me to see if I can help you or email me if  you prefer. I understand that the decision to try counselling is not  taken lightly and I appreciate that you may be feeling nervous about making contact with me. I am happy to explain to you how I work and how I may be able to help you.
