We tend to associate February with St. Valentine’s Day and whilst I’m not going to spend time writing about the hazards of workplace romance as is customary at this time of year, I thought it appropriate to suggest that given the really tough time we’ve all had over the last year, employers might like to think about showing their staff that their efforts have been appreciated. Whether that is a simple, “Thank you” or something more tangible, the very least you can do is to check up on how they are doing.
