This is how Networking works…

LeicsHere is how networking works the WiRE Leicestershire and Rutland Way (with Claire McFadden)

Mandy Anderson invites her friend Sarah Ward who owns the Brewery22 cafe to a WiRE meeting at Two Birds Gin that is a client of Megan, Rural Roots.

Jane Batty asks if anyone is going to a wreath making workshop for Christmas and Sarah suggests a new florist in her village.

Ten of us go along, have a lovely time and are now connected to both Sarah and Kat at The Flower Plant in Sileby.

I write a review of each business as I am sure others will do and the net spreads a little wider.

Kat is looking for help in the run up and I introduce her to Brooksby floristry tutor Julia Hart who I know from Flower club and we share Kat’s details with a large network of flower arrangers.

I’ve placed my order already for a “proper” wreath and discovered that a friend of mine also rated the Brewery cafe so I’ll meet her there now too. Always try and remember to acknowledge who started the chain of events – so a big thank you goes to Mandy Anderson of Ralph & Rose.

The ever increasing circles of our wire group are as joyous to behold as the wreaths we all now have hanging on our doors!

Merry Christmas Fiona Davies and the beautiful ladies of WiRE xx
