#BuckieLovesSmallBiz hits Burton

I am delighted to be supporting my fellow Burton Small Business founder Tilley Bancroft in bringing the #BuckieLovesSmallBiz tour to Burton-on-Trent on Small Business Saturday (December 2).

Buckie is a big, blue, cheeky puppet who is brought to life by Tilley (one of this year’s #SmallBiz100) and another puppeteer. He’ll be bringing his own particular brand of chaos to a number of local shops, coffee shops, a yoga studio and our historic market hall.

But the tour is not just about promoting local retailers and high street small businesses. We are encouraging other business owners who aren’t working that day to pop down with their families and have a selfi with Buckie and get their business some promotion through the images and videos we’ll be shooting all day.

If you can’t get down in person, do look out for the #BuckieLovesSmallBiz hashtag on social media to see what happened on the day.

Big thanks to Burton printing company Zero Gravitee for supporting us and fellow Burton Small Business and WiRE member Cheryl Morris of Creative Word PR.
