Farmer John & Sharon Earp from The Dandelion Hideaway in Leicestershire have won the national award, in the newly created category of Glamping Provider of the Year for VisitEngland’s Awards for Excellence, the most prestigious awards in English tourism.
The Dandelion Hideaway has previously won Bronze (2014, 2015) and Highly Commended (2016) in VisitEngland’s Self Catering Accommodation category, competing with traditional holiday cottages. This new category reflects the growing national popularity of glamping.
Sharon Earp from The Dandelion Hideaway said: “We are delighted to be have won the Glamping Provider of the Year. We proudly fly the flag for Leicestershire, as well as agriculture, farming and tourism”.
