WIRE Event at The George Stamford – Wednesday, November 1st 2017
Members of the WIRE Group in Leicester & Rutland have teamed together for a unique shopping experience in the town.
One of the event organisers Nicole Heath – shoe designer from Goody 2 Shoes in Stamford – has gathered together like minded ladies running their own unique businesses, including Jules Baines from Just Jules Jewellery and Louise Brookes from Hats From The Hall, to form a one day shopping event focused on women.
Called “BE YOUnique” the concept targets busy women who really don’t have a lot of time to devote to themselves, or put themselves last on the list after children and other household purchases. The concept being that it’s really ok to treat yourself.
By gathering a top to toe event in one place you can see handmade shoes and French clothing, locally designed jewellery, lingerie, fragrance and locally designed hats ( you can even learn about making your own) under one roof with an Image Consultant and make-up artist on hand to help you pull your look together. Finally you can be photographed by our team photographer or book a photograph session with her at a future date.
And if you decide to make a purchase with Christmas or birthday in mind we have a gift wrapping service on hand from Clair McFadden which is totally free – all we ask is for a small donation to our chosen local charity – The Evergreen Trust.
Running in The George Hotel Business Centre – Upstairs in The Henry Whincup – room from 11 am to 8pm there is plenty of time to pop in after the school run, in your lunch hour, before you collect the children or after work, or if you are not so local Stamford is consistently voted one of the best places to live in the UK, has more listed buildings than any other town and was the first conservation area 50 years ago. So come and spend the day experiencing its beautiful Georgian history.
Time it well and you can enjoy lunch, a snack or afternoon tea / cocktail at The George to make it a truly special day.
Within the venue is a lovely lounge area to relax in while you ponder your purchases.
There is plenty of parking at The George Hotel or on the Town Meadows Car Park.
The event is free but anyone who wishes can make a donation to The Evergreen Trust on the day.
