I am absolutely delighted that my fledging enterprise has been chosen as a 2017 Finalist in the ‘Best Rural Clothing and Accessories Category’ for The Rural Business Awards. It’s fantastic to be recognised alongside some of the best businesses supporting and operating within our great British countryside.
The Rural Business Awards, run in partnership with the CLA and Amazon, were created by rural entrepreneurs, Jemma Clifford and Anna Price. They are the only UK-wide programme dedicated to showcasing the success of rural businesses.
Rural Business Awards co-founder Jemma Clifford said: “The Rural Business Awards, now in its third year, gives rural enterprises of all sizes the opportunity to showcase their success and the contribution they are making to our thriving rural economy – just the firms that have entered in 2017 have combined turnovers well in excess of £70m. Loopy Ewe’s super concept and product caught our judges attention and we wish her, and all the other finalists, good luck for the Awards Ceremony in October.”
Without my WiRE membership, I’m not sure I would have known these awards were happening – let alone been able to take part and create such a great PR opportunity for my business.
