Blogging for Beginners Workshop in Nottingham

If you have been told you need to blog but have no idea how to begin, or even what to blog about, the Blogging for Beginners Workshop will get you started. This half day hands-on workshop in Nottingham will cover:

  • finding topics for your blog
  • finding keywords for SEO using Adwords Keyword tool
  • improving your writing style
  • finding free images for your blogs
  • editing images using Pixlr and Canva
  • uploading your blog on WordPress*
  • I’ve finished! Now what? Sharing on social media and email

This is a hands-on workshop, so you can bring along your laptop and create an actual blog on the day – all for just £50. In addition, I will support you by email and phone with any queries you have after the workshop.

The Enterprise Centre is next to David Lane tram stop in Nottingham so is easily accessible by public transport, and has free parking too.

* Don’t worry if your website is not built in WordPress, all the rest of the workshop will be relevant. Just ask your website designer or find out how to upload a blog before the workshop.

What Clients Say About Our Workshops

“I attended Beryl’s ‘Getting the most out of Mailchimp’ courses recently. Beryl put her knowledge and expertise across in a clear and concise manner. It was a good refresher session for me as I hadn’t used Mailchimp for a while, whilst at the same time she was supportive to those who were newer to Mailchimp. Would highly recommend.” Kerry Lummus, KL Secretarial Services

I was really happy with the course, and much more confident about using Mailchimp.” Mauri Beardshaw, Jewellery designer and maker.

“This was a really hands-on workshop that delivered exactly the right level of content at a good pace – thank you.” Amanda Pearce-Burton, Formation Training and Development Ltd
“The workshop was extremely practical, ‘hands on’ and relevant to our business. Particularly impressive was Beryl’s flexibility in the way she helped us learn. She was always able to answer our specific questions or demonstrate particular techniques ‘on the hoof’. Beryl also handled three very different levels of knowledge in the group very well.” Steve Harrison, Managing Director, Deli & Dine Ltd

“I recently attended a workshop that Beryl ran which I would recommend to anyone wanting to improve their business marketing. Beryl has a structured way to take you through the marketing of your business, covering all of the essentials and giving a great overview of many areas of marketing.” Marina Johnson, Director at I-Venture Training

“After attending Beryl’s course on writing a press release, I followed her suggested procedure and lo and behold my first one was published with hardly any changes. Very happy indeed and well worth attending the course.” James Mayle, Imageskool
