Sue Hall and the WiRE South Suffolk Network are celebrating being shortlisted for Raising the Bar Awards, as Sue says “we don’t know who nominated us but who cares!”
The awards celebrate organisations that have promoted or supported education in Suffolk, acknowledging the significant value they can add to the employability of the students they encounter, extending their real-world experience and opening up ambition
The last piece of work the WiRE Network did in this academic year with the Level 3 BTEC students raised over £1700 for Over The Rainbow – this amount together with what WiRE raised in 2016 in meeting attendance fees, raffle and Rainbow Tea Party meant we were able to raise almost £3000 for this small local charity.
