Months of work and perseverance are finally paying off for Emma Lawton, Founder of Wiltshire based HŪF Design.
In January this year Emma took the SKŪP to BETA International, the trade fair organised by the British Equestrian Trade Association that is held annually at the NEC in Birmingham. The SKŪP generated interest from all over the world and Emma has successfully negotiated a tri-party export deal with Tallahesse in Australia, Canadian Saddlery and Gobel Belgium.
Emma founded HŪF Design when she had to break up her horse’s frozen feed with her bare hands. She launched the SKŪP®, an ingenious, toothed feed scoop, in February 2015 when it won the BETA Innovation Award.
“It has always been a goal of mine to sell the SKŪP abroad and I am delighted to have been given the opportunity thanks to the vision of Marcus Yeomans from Tallahesse, Ron Ranney from Canadian Saddlery and Geert Nenczl from Gobel Belgium,” says Emma
“We are excited and we look forward to having these to offer our customers” says Marcus Yeomans, Sales & Marketing Manager of Tallahesse (Australia) Pty Ltd, New South Wales.
