Pop-up village market comes to Great Bridgeford Village Hall
A new market style event comes to Great Bridgeford Village Hall on Saturday April from 10.30-3pm. Organised by Sarah Lewis of Lily’s Secret Vintage Tearoom & A Very Vintage Events the ‘Spring Handmade, Vintage, Food & Artisan Pop-Up Market’ will host a wide range of traders including artisans, small businesses, foodies, crafters, vintage and antiques and gifts, together with a pop-up tearooms selling drinks, cakes and savouries.
The organiser explained ‘as a small business based in the local community we are always looking for opportunities to support other independents and smaller enterprises, The concept for the market was designed so it can be adapted to pop-up at various village hall locations around Shropshire, Staffordshire and The West Midlands’
Sarah added ‘There are 10,000 village halls in England, events like this will ensure the venues are getting used by the community, showcasing what the venue can offer to other family functions and as well as visitors buying goods from local traders boosting the local economy’
