Caroline Clark from Pet Education and Training is pleased to announce that, in addition to the hosted accredited First Aid for Dogs course, she has launched an on line version. Like the hosted courses, it is suitable for the pet professional as well as the pet owner.
Caroline is a Registered Veterinary Nurse & an ABTC Clinical Animal Behaviour Counsellor who has been teaching veterinary nursing for a number of years. She felt that there was a gap in the market for developing an animal first aid course. Although most people are familiar with the recognised courses available for people there is nothing out there for pets.
The course is comprised of 6 modules, covering a wide range of different emergency and non-emergency situations. It teaches the student how to be an emergency first aid responder so, as well as teaching life-saving skills, it provides those working in the animal industry with a competitive edge.
