A Worcestershire marketing company has been announced as the regional winner of a business competition.
Online Media Works – the brainchild of former Worcestershire Businesswoman of the Year, Esther Partridge-Warner – has been selected as the winner of Enterprise Nation’s StartUp 2017 Instagram competition.
The competition, entitled ‘My Big Idea’, called for entrants to post a creative image that sums up their business idea.
Online Media Works submission was entitled ‘Kickstart 2017 with an awesome social media strategy’.
The prize – which will be presented to Esther at the Chartered Accountants Hall in London on Tuesday 7 February– includes a one hour business advice session over lunch with Clive Lewis, Head of Enterprise at ICAEW – The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Esther said : “I am absolutely delighted to have won this competition from such a supportive and enterprising body. In a few short days after the award, my Instagram followers increased by 24 per cent, which proves the power that social media has within the business community.”

Esther – who previously ran a local training company – has first-hand experience of the needs of a small business; in her current role she offers a bespoke service, marketing support or training or a combination of both.
Esther has extensive experience in both sales and marketing, spanning a successful 25 year career. She has worked in large multinational corporations as well as micro businesses, across industries including publishing, security, IT, health, recruitment and creative industries.
