Freelance copywriter and WiRE member Catherine Every has just launched three new copywriting e-courses.
All three e-courses are aimed at business owners who want to improve their copywriting skills so they can write more effective marketing materials and grow their businesses. They each contain a mixture of video tutorials and downloadable worksheets that people can work through at their own pace.
Catherine says: “Everyone can write good, effective copy, you just need a few tips and tricks of the trade. That’s exactly what these e-courses give you.”
She adds: “I’ve been a freelance copywriter for over ten years and I spend my days writing marketing materials for people who need an expert who will get the job done. But I also know there are lots of people out there who don’t want to outsource their copywriting but they do want expert advice on how to give it a professional edge. That’s exactly what these e-courses give you.”
The three e-courses cover the areas that Catherine says people want the most support. She says: “I ran a survey last year asking people which areas of copywriting people would most like me to cover. The results were really clear and confirmed my own instincts.”
The e-courses are How to write better copy, which is a general introduction to copywriting, How to write good web copy, which covers the things you need to know when writing copy for the web, and How to write a good case study, which helps people to take the facts about a project and turn them into a valuable marketing tool.
Catherine loves sharing her copywriting knowledge with people and runs face to face workshops as well as offering the e-courses. “I love running face to face workshops with groups and seeing the instant difference I can make to people’s writing. But I also know that many people prefer to learn under their own steam, hence my decision to offer e-courses as well.”
