Wow, we did it again.
A fun, fabulous day in a gorgeous rural English Heritage setting at Nurstead Court in Kent. Our members and guests gathered to enjoy networking and a day for everything to get our Confidence Boosted for Business. Really useful talks kept us very amused from Kari from Lovell&Vie exposing the hidden secrets to choosing the best bra, and a hugely helpful talk from our Image Consultant member Sarah Grant on how to present our best visual selves.
After a wonderfully filling lunch generously provided by our local farm member Joanne Jones of Harvel House Farm, we settled down for a fashion show on our very own models compered by Sue Gofton, and put together by Jan Harsant. This led to a flurry of trying on, and buying activity which spread to our stalls which included our award-winning artist Trisha Wood’s designs on cards, mugs etc, and many other festive gift offerings from jewellery to pet tags. T
hese are an amazing innovation – 4 years of flea/insect repellent without chemicals just by wearing a very special tag…works on any mammals apparently, so my next venture into a field will have one on my ankle! No more Deet! Kristie MacKenzie has these. Reiki by Julie Yarrow, Reflexology by Susie Bridges, and beautiful botanically based Arbonne products to try from Fiona Blackmore completed our day.
If you would like to find out more about any of these, visit our facebook page to find the WiRE member and you can see more photos of the day taken by photographer Jane Mucklow and others.
