‘Future Food’ Supply Chain Event

Lloyds Bank, The University of Wolverhampton and Telford & Wrekin Council have come together to deliver the first food and drink supply chain event to be held in Telford .
This FREE event is designed to stimulate and inform all businesses in the farm to fork supply chain, equipping them with tools to better understand their development journey, potential growth opportunities and support mechanisms to help improve profitability; developing knowledge across product, process, packaging & innovation.
We are thrilled to welcome Rhys Herbert as our keynote speaker. Rhys, a Senior Macroeconomist for Lloyds Bank will give us key insights into the global market perspective of the food industry commodities, identifying key global growth opportunities.
UKTI will launch their new global opportunities website and application along with 1-2-1 meeting opportunities at the end of the event to discuss specific export opportunities.
We are also pleased that Simon Balderson, Managing Director, Sirane Ltd will give us a personal account of his company’s impressive business growth journey. Sirane, based in Telford, designs, manufactures and supplies retail food packaging to companies around the world.
Finally, Simon Thelwell from the world leading Harper Adams University will present on innovation within the agri-tech sector.
Delegate are also invited to an Open House in the Growth Hub Telford to view the impressive facilities, enjoy refreshments, networking & information stands
The food and drink industry is the single largest manufacturing sector in the UK.
