WiRE Member Kim Gilmour has been working with Shop in the Square Shrewsbury and after lots and lots of hard work we are going to open our new pop up shop in Shrewsbury just in time for Christmas shopping. Trading as ‘Shop in the Square Shrewsbury’ the new shop is in Wyle Cop which is a street full of lovely independent shops and cafes.
We will be opening the doors at 12 noon on Saturday 31st of October after lots of sanding, painting, arranging (and re-arranging) units and hanging artwork to create a beautiful space full of beautiful things.We will be stocking an eclectic mix of quality handmade items from luxury candles, chocolate and distinct bone china ceramics to upcycled furniture and a range of quirky jewellery, cards, fine art and accessories.
Supporting over 20 micro businesses, Shop in the Square manager Charlotte Clark has sourced the very best talent from the Wolverhampton shop and across Shropshire to bring unique gifts to the people of Shrewsbury.
Shrewsbury attracts a lot of visitors from across the region and has a great range of independent traders so when we were looking for a second location in the region we just knew we had to be in Shrewsbury.
Lots of items are available to buy online as well
Just like Wolverhampton the new shop will showcase artists and designers from across Shropshire and the West Midlands.
