Why should you grow your Personal Brand?

If you’re like me, you’ve probably spent hours pouring over your logo, website and marketing collateral making sure it’s perfect.

That’s great, but how much attention have you given to your personal brand?

Do you have a personal brand or do you hide behind your logo?

I have had numerous careers and businesses over the years but for the last 20 years I have focussed on growing my personal brand.

  • Yes, I have a logo.
  • Yes, I have marketing collateral
  • Yes, I have a website.

However, one thing I have learned over the years is that people buy from people. It’s all about Know, Like and Trust! I build relationships over time that people remember me, for all the right reasons.

Growing and working on your personal brand (online and offline) can help you attract the customers you want, so that you become the ‘go to’ person in your niche.

I have moved jobs and created several businesses but my profile has always followed me, so I haven’t had to start from scratch each time.
