The value of being like-minded

Posted: 2nd February 2015

We only work with people that we like. It sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how many companies ‘suck it up’ for the pay cheque at the end of a project. We trust our gut and judge our prospects on the people that represent their company – after all, we’re being judged in this same way.

We set up Drive Creative Studio with a set of strong values that rule over all of us:

  • Humble, yet hungry
  • Honest
  • Proactive

Sounds fairly straight-forward, right?

Our internal values translate externally through our brand. ‘Brand’ is often referred to as’what your stakeholders say about you when you’re not in the room’. We often get feedback from our clients that we’ve superseded their expectations or that they couldn’t be happier with the result.

For us it’s about mutual respect rather than profit. How can a client trust you if you’re just saying yes to everything they thing they want? We want our clients to appreciate what we offer and more importantly ‘how’ we do it. It’s this attitude that has won us some really stellar clients, mostly through referral from other clients.

We want to work with other people that have this same attitude to business. After all, business is all about people.
