How many times have you cried out in despair: “There simply aren’t enough hours in the day!”?

I own a personal assistant company with a difference – Pink Spaghetti Norwich.  I offer my time and experience to local small business owners, consultants, freelancers and home owners.

Basically, it’s pay as you go. There are a burgeoning number of micro-businesses across Norfolk, many of which operate from people’s homes and are not in a position to employ a full time or even part time assistant.

That is where I come in. I can take over the tasks that no business owner enjoys, from managing social media to decluttering, answering emails and creating newsletters. Pink Spaghetti exists to take away the legwork from a business owner, releasing more time for them to spend on the parts of the business that they love.

I believe I am unique in that I offer small businesses as many hours of support as they need, without any commitment or ties to a regular contract.

I am really passionate about helping local businesses thrive and also making life easier for busy people.

At Pink Spaghetti we tend to ask you to think about the following questions:

What are your repetitive tasks?

What don’t you know how to do?

What don’t you like doing?

These tend to be the best areas to hand over to someone else.

Here are 10 reasons why hiring a virtual assistant could be good for you:

  1. Virtual Assistants work remotely so you don’t have to find them a desk / office space
  2. A VA is cheaper than employing a full-time member of staff
  3. There are no minimum hours or contracts so it is a ‘pay as you go’ service which you can use as and when you need it
  4. Having a VA to take care of your business admin will allow you more time to focus on growing and running your business, safe in the knowledge that your VA is looking after certain tasks for you
  5. Small business owners often find it hard to switch off from their business, but a VA can allow you to outsource certain tasks that you either shouldn’t be doing, or don’t have time for
  6. Using a VA will eliminate the need for interviewing, hiring and firing and the costs associated with that
  7. Your VA can work flexible hours to suit you
  8. If you find time to have a break, your VA can keep on top of ‘phone calls and emails while you are away
  9. Busy at home as well as at work? Your VA can take care of errands such as planning or researching your family holiday, party or event
  10. If you always feel like you need an extra hour in the day, a VA could be the perfect solution so you can channel your energy where it is needed
