Selby York WiRE

Welcome to Westergate and the Selby York WiRE group.

I am delighted and excited to re start the group in this area. Years ago the Selby WiRE group was very important to me,  and,  also for other ladies who had no one to bounce ideas off, discuss problems or just have a friendly face to chat with.

This first meeting is to get to know each other and to discuss what you would like or might be able to offer to the group, so we can put a plan together. There has to be an element of business so we would like to have a 30 minute slot each month for someone to show case their business by offering a spotlight talk or demonstration about their chosen subject.  Maybe it is flower arranging or crafting, maybe it is digital design on canva or help and ideas to market your business.  We would like to learn about how you started and what hurdles you crossed and the pros and cons, so others can take inspiration from your story.  If you would just like to meet new faces and get out of the house/office for a while, then come along for for just that.  Your particiaption can be as as much or little as you want it to be.

In order to get numbers we ask you to get a ticket through Eventbrite.

The first meeting is free to members and a token amount for non wire  then depending on what we do in the future the price is £5 and £7 to fund admin costs, and any excess goes towards any higher expenses we may incur for speakers or a drink at Christmas !!
