Theresa Hargreaves  We’ve Got This with Theresa Hargreaves

  • Why is Wellbeing so important in the Workplace?
  • What is ill mental health?
  • Why so I get stressed and what are the warning signs?
  • Building resilience
  • How can I help others?

Over a third of people in most countries report problems at some time in their life of mental disorder – World Health Organisation (WHO).
1 in 6 people experience the symptoms of a mental health problem in any given week – Mental Health Foundation 2014
1 in 7 people  experience mental health problems in the workplace (15%)
Women in full-time employment are nearly twice as likely to have a common mental health problem as full-time employed men (20% vs 11%).
Evidence suggests that 13% of all sickness absence days in the UK can be attributed to mental health conditions.
By addressing wellbeing at work, it can increase productivity by as much as 12% – Mental Health Foundation 2014

Why? Theresa Hargreaves
I am an Advisor to businesses in helping to minimise the impact on productivity of mental illness in the workplace.
With 1 in 6 people reporting symptoms of mental health in any one week, the impact on companies productivity can be as much as 12%

Therefore my  aim is to breakdown the workplace stigma of mental illness, and improve overall wellbeing at work through better understanding & communication within the individuals , and then help create bespoke strategies and systems at a corporate responsibility level to minimise the overall decline in mental wellbeing.

Theresa Hargreaves provides:

insight that leads to understanding
                              balance to allow for communication
                                             tools to create change

A coaching provision within the workplace to bring about a clearer understanding of how Mental Health is affecting one in four people, how to unlock the taboo, and what to do to help manage the stigma, in order to bring about change.

After a 20 year career in the food industry, working to a Senior level, within a FMCG environment, I broke! The learnings from that experience and the training that followed, have led me to understand that there is a serious problem within our workforce, and that there is a lack of understanding in what to do. I therefore lead by example and advise through real-life experience.
