Doughnut Economics – Think of it as a compass for human prosperity in the 21st century, with the aim of meeting the needs of all people within the means of the living planet.

I don’t know about you, but I often think about what I can do in my day to day to live more sustainably, whether that is financially, environmentally or even consciously. But how can we bring this thinking full circle and implement it within our business models (however small our businesses), local areas, society and in a much broader sense how can our actions have positive impact globally.

In this session, Polly will introduce Doughnut Economics and discuss whether it could be useful to us and help us think about how to grow really excellent businesses.

Doughnut economics is a new way of looking at our place in the world – a framework for thinking about our impacts on other people and the natural world. It is a really good conceptual framework for contextualising business in society and supporting the development of businesses which are socially and environmentally responsible, sustainable and have a positive impact.

We hope to see you all there.
