Lisa Davies will be opening the conference with a seminar asking“Why blend in when you were born to shine bright?”
This session will provoke thought and create discussion on just what makes us shine as women in the business world. Drawing from both her own experiences and that of many phenomenal women, Lisa will share much wit and wisdom from both the trials to the celebrations of being or becoming “Bright”.
Lisa is the founder of Get a Life! Chief inspiration officer (and Director) Get the Edge Training and Consultancy Ltd Multi-award winning therapist and business woman and Author of Get a Life the guide book
Lisa loves nothing more than helping people live life with purpose and passion, bringing balance and fulfilment into all areas of life and work. Working with people of all ages and backgrounds, both individuals and groups, Lisa has achieved national recognition for her work. Lisa has been blessed to have delivered talks and keynote seminars to audiences large and small, as well as offering interviews and written articles for the national and in some cases international media.
But, don’t let that fool you, it’s not all red carpets and glamorous frocks (well just sometimes), In truth Lisa says she’s a down to Earth, real life person who likes nothing better than walking out in nature or curling up with a good book in her onsie!
Sue Tonks will be talking us through the “Rollercoaster’s Roundabouts and Roulette of Running a Business”
It is a fact that running a business can be a Rollercoaster ride, with its constant “ups and downs”, “twists and turns”, or its inertia, not pushing the boat out, not doing the things to push the business forwards, staying in a comfort zone. Sue’s very personal, humorous and realistic look at business problems today helps people move towards business success, allowing you to take control of your business, create change and develop sustainable plans for success. They are quick and easy to do, and keep you looking forward in your business to achieve measurable and lasting results.
Sue has been an International Trainer and Presenter for 25 years. Energetic and fun, Sue’s approach creates a long lasting impression and people take away many invaluable skills to help them be more confident and successful at all social occasions, life and in business.
Not content with inspiring and supporting businesses, Sue has recently launched HydroVeg Kits, which was born, or rather grown, in a back garden in the Midlands. Says Sue “we have a great interest in organic food, and eating a high alkaline diet we found ourselves with copious amounts of PH6 – 6.5 water. I found out that hydroponic systems use PH6 – 6.5 for their plants so even though I am not really green-fingered at all – I do love a challenge. So I designed a hydroponic garden system on the back of an envelope!”
