Rural Enterprise Grant
Rural Development Programme for England
If you are a farmer, grower, forester, land owner, rural business or part of a rural community, you can potentially benefit from funding provided through the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE).
The funding is managed by three different agencies, depending on the activity being proposed.
Management of the RDPE funding stream has shifted from the Eight Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) to DEFRA who now administer RDPE-funded grants for economic and social projects, which aim to increase the competitiveness of farmers, improve the quality of rural life and diversify the rural economy.
You can find more information about RDPE funding on the DEFRA website
The RDPE Network is a useful resource with information about projects and funding streams
