Prince's Countryside Fund

The Prince’s Countryside Fund is a unique collaboration of brands and businesses working together to secure a sustainable future for British agriculture and the wider rural economy.

The Prince’s Countryside Fund has three goals: 

• To improve the sustainability of British farming and rural communities, targeting the areas of greatest need;
• To reconnect consumers with countryside issues; and
• To support farming and rural crisis charities through a dedicated emergency funding stream

We hope to achieve these goals through funding projects that support them and raising awareness through The Prince’s Countryside Fund and the companies involved.

WiRE Director Polly Gibb said " I am absolutely delighted. In awarding WiRE this grant, the Prince's Countryside Fund has recognised the contribution that female entrepreneurs are making to the rural community, and the potential for that to be even greater. WiRE has members in every rural part of the UK and we know that access to a local network of like-minded people can really help new businesses survive and grow. 

This grant will help us to support these networks and celebrate the work of our network leaders who are key individuals who step forward to do something positive for their community and for the UK economy."
