Are you a female farmer? If so the BBC want you! - 05/01/2012

The project was originally inspired by the visit of Michelle Obama to a London school, where many pupils felt it had changed their lives. The project centres around inspiring young people (aged 9-12) to fulfil their potential and fuel a self-belief and enthusiasm for their future.

They are interested in finding someone to interview in the farming/agriculture sector who could inspire kids to do this as a job. We are particularly interested in female farmers as it shows that the industry is forward thinking and open to anyone who wants to do it, we are also interested in finding people who weren't born into farming but who chose to do it from a city/town upbringing, for example.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support the next generation and offer an invaluable insight into how they might develop their career and could help show that the journey towards fulfilment is seldom obvious or straightforward, but that with commitment, enthusiasm, hard work and perhaps a wonderfully inspiring 'spark moment' life can be the stuff of dreams.

It would be great to know if this is something you could help with.

We are planning on filming from now until Friday 22nd June 2012 so it would be good to know if there is anyone you could recommend I get in touch with.
