Food Business Opportunity- Stoke on Trent - 17/02/12

A member business is in the process of submitting a tender for catering services at a Live music event in Stoke on Trent this summer over the weekend of the 16 & 17th June.

They are looking for other small businesses to work with on a collaberative basis to provide upto

 

16 concessions supplying catering services for upto 30,000 visitors over 2 days. The audience is likely to be 14 - 30 in age.

 

We are specifically looking for 

 

-Bar service with the relevant licence to sell alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

 

-

Hog roast of similar-Fish & chip sales or similar

 

-Burgers and hot dogs etc

 

 -

Vegetarian offering

 

 -

Jacket potato sales

 

 -

Soft drink sales

 

 -

Fruit or smoothie bar

 

 -

Ice creams

 

 -

Sweetie Bar

 

Other suggestions welcome.

 

 

-You should be able to provide service required to the numbers suggested and hence we are looking for businesses with proven track record of supplying to large numbers and having the appropriate capacity in terms of supplies, staff and presentation.

 

 

-You should be able to provide all equipment and disposables needed for the duration of the event and relevant merchandising ie your cover and a professional counter display. You must also be able to provide your own generator for power/ refrigeration etc.

The payment involved ( and I suspect the success of the bid) will take the form of a sponsorship offer therefore we welcome offers of an aspiartional level of sponsorship to take part in the event. Please note cash sales on the day will be the responsibility and reward of the individual businesses invited to take part if we are succesful as a group. No payment is involved unless the collaberative bid is succesful. Please include a figure of sponsorship that you would be prepared to offer.

 

 

The deadline to submitt proposals is short so a reply by close of play no later than Monday 20th is required.

 

Approaches from Staffordshire and West Midlands based businesses especially welcome.
