BT Announces Rural Community Winners of Broadband - 06/01/11
Six rural communities that took part in a competition held by BT have won superfast broadband upgrades to their exchanges. The areas that will receive the upgrade are Baschurch in Shropshire, Blewbury in Oxfordshire, Caxton in Cambridgeshire, Innerleithen in Tweeddale, Madingley in Cambridgeshire and Whitchurch in Hampshire. The superfast broadband will be installed by early2012 and is expected to attract businesses to the areas receiving the upgrade.
