Business Knowledge is Key - 21/09/10
The Ludlow WiRE Network will be holding its next meeting at The Charlton Arms in Ludlow on Tuesday, 28 September at 7pm.
Network leader Pen Harrison has invited Andy Offer from Whyle House Lamb to talk about the trials and tribulations of a small farmer setting up in business.
Following the usual break for networking there will be a session that introduces a variety of themes in order to enhance business know-how that will benefit other members of the group. Three businesses will do presentations sharing their latest achievements and talking about new products and procedures. Afterwards there will be plenty of time for discussions and networking.
The event is part of a series of monthly meetings throughout the year where a variety of themes are introduced in order to enhance business know-how and allow opportunities for networking.
Carol Ewels from Always Consult in Shrewsbury, said: “WIRE initially helped me set up in business 18 months ago and I still regularly attend the Ludlow network group.The interaction with like minded people not only gives ongoing support and encouragement, but has enabled me to to move my business forward with confidence through the knowledge gained by talking to other WIRE members."
The monthly Ludlow WiRE Network meetings for new and experienced female entrepreneurs are free and take place every last Tuesday of a month at 7pm at The Charlton Arms in Ludlow.
