Stafford & Surrounding Area WiRE Network

Network Leaders:

Welcome to Stafford Live WiRE’s

Our business networking event is usually held on the 2nd Monday of every month, between 10am and 12 noon, at the beautiful Moat House in Acton Trussel, ST17 0RJ. The Moat House has plenty of free parking and is sign-posted from surrounding roads.

Tracey Nixon and Cheryl Turner are the volunteer leaders for the group.

We have  a mix of formal and informal events, educational speakers, interactive sessions, support sessions, plenty of networking before and after the meeting and during the refreshments break.  We have lots of positive energy and fun.

The cost is only £6 for WiRE members and £9 for non-members, with the meeting fee payable at the time of booking.

Please bring your enthusiasm and plenty of business cards!!

WiRE business networking events are independent and run by volunteers. Please confirm your booking and notify the organisers if you need to cancel. Networks are for WiRE Members only but guests are welcome to sample the meetings (at a cost of £8.50) twice before being encouraged to join or join now

We have a monthly newsletter too, so if you wish to be added, please contact

Comments on the group:

“Just wanted to say well done on a really great meeting this morning! Great turnout and really good atmosphere! I’m loving the ‘we’ve taken on board your feedback and so we’re doing….’ gives people a real sense of ownership so well done!” Natasha

“Well done for a great WIRE meeting last week. You presented really well and I think you will do an amazing job of organising the group.” Marisa

“I just wanted to let you know that I thought the Wire meeting today was great – really vibrant with lots of interesting business women who had some great ideas.” Carol

I had a great couple of hours yesterday; thanks very much for allowing me to come along!” Emma

“Thanks again – it was a super meeting today, a good range of businesses, really interesting. Think it’s a great idea to do a newsletter around everyone, but would involve a lot of work I guess!” Julia

“I attended the meeting at the stormy Moat House on Monday and really enjoyed it, thank you so much for letting me attend as a non-member. I am really inspired by the work that you all do and got lots of great ideas so thank you also for that. I hope to attend another meeting in the future at which point I hope to join the network.” Louise.

“I am a member of the Stafford Network group in order to meet, network with and support other local business women. In return I have gained confidence in running my own business and, as someone who runs a business primarily aimed at the female market, I have benefited in many ways too!” Angela

“It’s a great chance to spend time with a bunch of friendly women who manage to have fun AND promote one another in business. I enjoy it!” Barbara

“Networking with others in the same situation is so helpful and it’s always useful to listen to business advice.” Gina

“Not only an enjoyable morning and opportunity to promote your business but also meeting like-minded business women who you similarly feel comfortable recommending to others.” Beverley

“Such a lovely group of ladies. I have made new friends and apart from the immediate business it has offered, I have benefited from some really entertaining and practical advice from speakers and fellow Wire members. For me Wire networking has provided the impetus and support needed to keep me on track. Thank you to all the members of Stafford and surrounding areas Networking Group.” Jan
