New network starting January 2018.
Mia Arrowsmith is taking the helm at the North Staffordshire WiRE Network, and she is pleased to announce that a venue and date has been set for the first and subsequent monthly meetings. Also Jacqui Smith will be joining her in taking on the responsibility of this voluntary role.
Upcoming events are listed on this page. We do encourage you to book a place to let us know you INTEND to attend as this helps us plan. Payment is taken in advance and on the night.
From January 2018, we will be meeting at the The Kings Arms, 17 Stafford Street, Eccleshall, ST21 6BL on the THIRD Wednesday of each month. We encourage you to arrive 30 minutes before the meeting, to have more networking time.
We always offer the opportunity to introduce yourself and what you do to the room. You are welcome to bring along leaflets, flyers and business cards to distribute. Most months, one WiRE member gives a 10-minute insight into her work. However, occasionally this slot will be replaced with a learning point. There is usually a guest speaker or workshop and sometimes we run a ‘pure networking’ night when there is chance to have longer 1-2-1 chats with different women at the meeting.
Early Bird Prices up to the day before the meeting, payable via Eventbrite, are £5.50 for WiRE members and £8 for non-members.
If you chose to Pay at the Door. The prices are £6 for WiRE members and £8.50 for non-members.
N.B. The price includes a hot drink and cake.
ALL working women (employed and self-employed) and those who volunteer for charities and good causes are welcome. We would prefer if you paid via Eventbrite. However, cash will be accepted at the meeting. Any questions or to be added to the mailing list, please contact North Staffordshire’s volunteer network leader: Mia or Jacqui.
