Running my own busy online travel agency is such a joy for me to able to help my clients plan amazing trips. They always ask my advice on where they should stay, what trips they should go on and how to get the best out of their holiday time.
For me, there is nothing like going to a destination myself to be able to get first hand knowledge so that I can share this with my clients and make personal recommendations.
I was lucky enough to be asked to travel to Brazil on a fact finding trip recently with one of my specialist South America partners Latin Routes.
I visited Rio de Janeiro and saw the amazing views from Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ The Redeemer. Then onto the famous Iguazu Falls visiting both the Argentinian and Brazilian side of the falls to experience the spectacular views. We also had couple of nights at the little known Buzios Beach area which is around 2.5 hours north of Rio. Much more chilled and relaxed compared to Rio with a real fishing village type of atmosphere. Perfect to wind down a little before we headed to the depths of the Amazon!
Our activities in the Amazon included, Cayman viewing at night, jungle trekking, visiting an indigenous tribe and dancing with them as well as viewing the famous pink dolphins. Such an exciting remote area is definitely worth a visit.
Brazil has such an amazing array of fantastic destinations and experiences.
