About the Company / Business

Hello, my name is Sharron Briggs, I would like to introduce you to my business, Bounce Back Art (BBA).  BBA has been set up to help working age adults dealing with issues surrounding low level mental ill health i.e., Anxiety, Stress and Depression, using art as a tool.  (This is not to be confused with Art Therapy which involves psychotherapy.)

Bounce Back Art will be mainly based in East Norwich, Heartsease and a Blofield. However, the service is mobile and can be offered to businesses, in particular those that have an issue with lost man hours due to long term illness, brought on by stress and depression within the workforce.

In addition to the working population there is also an issue with Social Isolation, particularly in rural communities that BBA aims to address.  Isolation and exclusion can be a contributing factor to depression and leave people with low self esteem and feelings of worthlessness.  Bounce Back Art  hopes to focus attention on bringing people out and socialising, enjoying and appreciating art.

My qualifications include; Foundation Degree in Art and Wellbeing at City College Norwich;  progression to BA (Hons) in Professional Studies at UCS Great Yarmouth.  Prior to this; An A-Level Art and Design; Access to Art and Design; NCFE; City and Guilds;
