A word or two from Claire...

I trained as a ceramicist, and am a mother of two, married to a wood carver. I have always appreciated the benefits of well designed, hand made products. I believe in the value of how things fill a space, however utilitarian their function brings a rare joy to the everyday humdrum of life. Having filled my own, my friends and my family’s kitchen cupboards with tableware, I began to look for other products from local makers to enrich my home.

Over time I have become more and more passionate about hand made products and less inclined toward the mass produced disposable items that are more easily available.

As a maker and being married to one gives me the perfect opportunity to meet other artisans that live locally, all dedicated to their chosen craft and passionate about making stylish and quality products.

Believing there are a lot of people out there who are looking for form, function and quality craftsmanship, Icreated Suffolk Made Ltd as a means to this end. I lookfor the highest quality craftspeople, based in Suffolk, who produce a varied range of products.

These products are all beautifully hand crafted to order for each customer. Suffolk Made Ltd is very proud to endorse the fantastic skills that the county of Suffolk hides within it rural depths.
