"The inspiration for Scrufts dog collars and leads came from my girls Maggie and Frankie the Sussex Spaniels and their beautiful rich, golden liver coats. After yet another disappointing trip to our local pet shop for new collars and leads we scratched our collective heads and decided to make our own range and Scrufts is the result. I noticed that manufacturers don't take the colour and texture of our dogs' coats into account and having a background in knitwear design, I find texture and colour truly exciting and I like my girls looking stylish too!"

Every collar and lead has Joy's personal touch and are made in her sunny workroom under the watchful gaze of the dogs with the burble of Radio 4 in the background. With a strong webbing core, the collars are covered in gorgeous American grosgrain ribbon or Kaffe Fasset's beautiful fabrics, lined with velvet and teamed with toning heart shaped tags. Joy's leads are double sided, have velvet lined grips for comfort and are available in a choice of three lengths. And check out the exclusive black powder coated metal rings and trigger hooks chosen to set off the dramatic colours in the fabrics.
