About the Company / Business
Jam Jar Shop
brings you all the choice of glass jam jars, sauce bottles, oil bottles, preserving jars, swing top bottles and jam-making equipment available to the commercial producers, in manageable quantities. We have everything from 1 1/2oz jars for individual portions to 1/2 gallon jars ideal for pickled onions or pickled eggs.
Oil bottles from Italy - perfect for packaging gift items, smaller bottles for sauces or fruit vinegars and the ever-popular preserving jars, very useful for storage. You can even choose from a range of lids, some in a variety of colours. Our range of equipment has been built from practical experience - products we have found useful, economic and easy-to-clean in our sister company 'from the country larder'. Jam funnels, maslin pans, jelly bags - even long-handled wooden spoons to keep your hands away from spitting jam!
Presentation is so important to the final product so we have a unique range of labels for your jams or chutneys designed and printed in house and unavailable elsewhere. We are very happy to discuss new ideas and custom print at low cost.
Here it is - our Country Living Best New Product Award
Presented to us at the Country Living Spring Fair 2010
We had such a good time at the show - all of the people from the event organisers and from Country Living Magazine made it as good as it can be. It's always hard work, you always end up exhausted but if the hassle is minimised it makes all the difference. Things like being able to have a freshly cooked breakfast with wholesome ingredients before you start really made a difference. Hats off to all of the cheerful staff at The Good Eating Company in the venue. Even the taxi drivers were cheerful!
We are so pleased to have won this award on our first visit and it really gives our staff a boost who worked especially hard to keep everything going back at base while some of us were away.
That was last year and we went along to this year's show with a bigger stand and were overwhelmed by the response. Since then we have been to the BBC Good Food Show and are now all set for our trip to Oxford to The WI Real Jam Festival in October. Come along and see us there or, better stilol, put in your entry soon!
