About the Company / Business
Chart Hill Cottage
is a luxury bed and breakfast in a gorgeous Georgian cottage enjoying magnificent views over the Weald of Kent. Having recently moved from London, we have been busy sympathetically renovating the Cottage to bring it into the 21st century.
Winner of the prestigious Visit Britain Gold Award within three months of our opening in April 2008, we are pleased to announce that Chart Hill Cottage Bed & Breakfast has again been awarded the VisitBritain Gold Award for outstanding service and quality for 2009/2010. We have also been awarded the new VisitEngland Breakfast Award for our delicious breakfasts!
Chart Hill Cottage is a top B&B in the area, offering superior bed and breakfast accommodation with magnificent country views over the Weald of Kent. We provide superb rooms and facilities including en suite bedrooms and guest lounge, all designed and equipped to a very high standard of comfort.
Near Leeds Castle (ten minutes drive away), Maidstone and Detling for the Kent Showground, Chart Hill Cottage is centrally located for places to visit in Kent and East Sussex as well as being a romantic getaway. Great for walkers (we are on the Greensand Way) and cyclists too. Canterbury, Sissinghurst, Chartwell, Hever Castle, Great Dixter and Bodiam Castle, to mention a few, are a leisurely drive from the Cottage. For the motor sports enthusiast, Brands Hatch is thirty five minutes away. Romney Marsh, the coast at Hythe, atmospheric Dungeness and Camber Sands can be reached within the hour whilst Gatwick, Ashford International, the Channel Tunnel, Dover and Folkestone are also readily accessible.
