About the Company / Business

Penny Lindop is an artist/designer with a background in archaeology and prehistory. She designs and produces unique, creative, whimsical art, greeting cards and gifts. Her extensive portfolio of designs is created in ink and watercolour, combined with other media to create an amusing, yet simple image. Recently she has added some original paintings to her repertoire which have been extremely successful at shows around the country.

Her work incorporates little puffs of real sheep's wool and she has concentrated on building up a collection of beautiful colours to use in her designs. With her passion for ancient breeds, stemming from her archaeological background, she uses wool from a wide variety of ancient breeds. Currently in the collection are fleeces from the following breeds: Shetland, Manx Longhtan, Portland, Norfolk Horn and Hebridean. If you can help with further fleeces from other ancient breeds, please do get in touch. Fine quality, rather than the coarser hill breeds, are what she's after.
